SWINGPHONIC – an elegant fusion of a jazz ensemble and string orchestra brings timeless songs of the Great American Songbook to life in a rich symphonic sound.

In new, sophisticated arrangements, audiences will hear iconic hits associated with Frank Sinatra or Tony Bennett, alongside original compositions written by Smigmator over the years in collaboration with pianist and composer Svatopluk F. Smola.

The jazz quintet features outstanding musicians and long-time collaborators of Jan Smigmator: pianist Mikuláš Pokorný, double bassist Tomáš Baroš, drummer Marek Urbánek, tenor saxophonist Jan Kyncl, and trombonist Richard Šanda.
